THe ITFHQ Open World Championships will be held in the World-class University of Galway Sports Arena. The arena is located in the The Kingfisher University of Galway building, which is situated in the heart of University of Galway, just beneath the Quincentenary Bridge towards the East side of the City.

As well as the Sports arena, it holds a state-of-the-art 25m pool, designed with both the swimmer and learner in mind, heated to 28 degrees with the innovative ultra-violet pool system, reducing the amount of chlorine needed in the water. The pool is split into sections – 3 lanes of differing speed for the regular swimmer and a separate section for those looking to practice their swimming stroke. The bright, vibrant gym offers up over 100 pieces of cardio and a superb weights section, with a separate core studio, ideal for pre-exercise warm ups, post-exercise warm downs and more importantly working on your six pack!

Our gym is staffed by qualified gym instructors who will be available to discuss members training programmes or for any assistance. Our pool environment is also constantly manned by one of our trained lifeguards to ensure a fully safe pool environment for all members and guests.
